The focus of our Introductory Course for Beginners (and all our other courses) is climbing itself. Learning by doing.
Our Introductory Course for Beginners is a four lessons course (during four weeks) where you get introduced to climbing safety and the basic climbing skills. Focused on different belay-, material- and climbing techniques. At the end of the course you’ll receive a K2 belay certificate from the Dutch Climbing Association which allows you to climb unsupervised in all Dutch indoor climbing halls.
This course is € 99,00. This includes: entry, rental equipment, certificate and one month free climbing in all “Klimmuur” locations after finishing your course. No doubt about it – a good deal!
If you like to continue climbing it’s advisable to purchase your own material. We offer special price deals on our quality climbing starter packages. This package includes all material you need for climbing and also including four single entries, for € 189,00 (youth € 159,00).
If you have been climbing for a while, there may come a time when you want to take it to the next level. You might want to learn how to lead climb. For this we have the advanced course. This course focuses on lead climbing, with all the aspects that go with it. You learn to securing and rope techniques. Much attention is paid to safety. The student must have a reasonable experience in indoor climbing. A good level is 6a. The advanced lead climbing course is the perfect preparation for a course of outdoor rock climbing.
But off course we just start with the beginner’s course. The rest will follow!
