Bouldering has become more and more popular over the past few years. Bouldering is a way of climbing on low walls that is performed without the use of ropes but protected by matting for safety.
The challenge is to climb short but tricky bouldering routes by using your balance, technique, strength and brains. The maximum height of bouldering is approximately 4.5 m (approx. 14 ft) and your climb will last no longer than a few minutes. Thick bouldering mats will protect you from injuries.
A bouldering centre is a very social place. Climbers are in constant interaction with each other about tricky climbing problems but mostly share tons of fun.
Bouldering is immediately accessible to kids and youth of all ages and skill levels because routes are short in time and vary from very easy to very difficult. Some think that one of the best things about bouldering is how social it is. We would like to invite you to one to of our climbing centers to find out for yourself.
